Following the Coronavirus pandemic raging around the world and being experienced in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Kinshasa Regional Assembly of the comboni missionaries, scheduled for 23rd-28th March 2020, is postponed for a later date.
For his part, Fr. Leonard Ndjadi, provincial superior, has asked all the Comboni Missionaries to take the present reality seriously. "I call each one of us not to minimise the present moment," he said.
However, he urged them to continue each one to work in their missionary service with vigilance and serenity, trusting in the intercession of St. Daniel Comboni.
Furthermore, all the comboni missionaries are asked to remain in their respective communities, given the present state of health.
